MonoprintS

These are all “monoprints” I did in college. Monoprints are called such due to unlike other printmaking efforts only one (mono) impression is made from the plate. Basically the ink is spread on a plate and worked with using various tools, including one’s own hands. Monoprints can be done using a variety of materials and surfaces. Some of these pieces had pastel added on top of them for added texture.
